'Hologram Man' is the third track from my 'Shadowplay' project; a cycle of songs dealing with different aspects of my personal journey through grief.

This song is a portrait of my experience with derealistion/depersonalisation, which I have always experienced throughout my life to some degree, but became particularly intense in the wake of my loss and continues to affect me every day. At its worst it can be truly disturbing and upsetting, where the potency and vitality of reality can feel non-existent and to feel awake to and present in the world is a real struggle, but over time I have learnt to accept it as part of my lived experience. Writing and producing this track, along with making this video has proved significant in my understanding and acceptance of this. It's been a truly valuable process.
I made all of this singlehandedly and it's taken an age to finish but I'm really proud of it and I'm so happy to share it!
